Flies

I would like to thank you for taking the time to stop by my website. And yes this is the original home
of "Schottsies Foamy Mouse". There is variations, but there is nothing like the original.

This months, "Fly of the Month" we are going show you a fly that I changed up on colors and
tied on smaller hooks, and had great luck with Bass, and Bluegills. The fly is called "The Boss"
and is an Salmon fly that as I mentioned when tied smaller works for warmwater fish also. Take a
look at it, and go ahead & try to tie one on.

This years Michigan Fly Fishing Clubs annual Smallmouth Outing went great!! We had to deal
with lots of wind and our daily rain showers, but we caught fish, and lots of them. We fished up
in Eagle Bay which is in Lake Huron up by Port Austin, in the tip of the thumb area in Michigan.
The best day was on Sunday, out of four of us we hooked into 66 Smallmouth in about 3 1/2
hours. The sizes ranged from 11" up to 16 and 17 inches. I cannot wait to head back up or for
next year.
